University of Guyana Foundation Gala and Global Gathering:

Thursday, February 12, 2026 3-7pm — Opening of the Global Gathering: Thursday at Tain Berbice Assembly, Performance by Meredith Ramsay & Cocktail reception).

➢ Friday, February 13, 2026, 10.00-1.00pm — Rap Session with Meredith Ramsay and Keith Waite on Music Business, Professional Performance and Ethics at Guyana Theatre Guild.

➢ Friday, February 13, 2026 — Friday Fusion (a concert) featuring Meredith Ezinma Ramsay (Violinist), Keith Wade (Flutist), Guyana Theatre Guild.

➢ Saturday February 14, 2026 — The Marquee Gala at World Trade Centre Guyana 6.00 pm -12midnight.

➢ Sunday February 15, 2026 — Gala Light – UG Friends Picnic (12 noon -6pm — Turkeyen Campus.

➢ Monday February 16, 2026: Option for Delegates:

(a) River Cruise or

(b) Visit to Demerara Distilleries Limited.

ACCESS to the World Trade Centre Building

All the guests have to go through security/magnetometer for access to the building

There will be Two Access Points to enter the venue

LEFT FACING ENTRANCE:

Guests with VIP Tickets/Special Guests/Sponsors should enter through this entrance. A Volunteer will be there to greet and guide you.

RIGHT FACING ENTRANCE:

All Other Guests should enter through this entrance. A Volunteer will be there to greet and guide you.

QR TICKETS

To gain access to the Event on February 14, 2026. all guests MUST have the QR tickets received when they purchased tickets. Special Guests/Sponsors will be sent their access information separately.

QR codes will be scanned immediately after you pass through the security checkpoint

REGISTRATION DESK

Guests will be directed to the Registration desk and/or be directed by Volunteers to the VIP Reception area/or the Cocktail hour.

LIQUOR

All purchases of hard liquor CAN ONLY be done by electronic transactions. In addition to the Cocktail Hour, wine will be served with dinner.

STEP AND REPEAT

This Self-Serve space has been created to add to your experience to capture memories. Guests are welcome to use this space to take Selfies/Pictures/Videos

HEALTH

For the comfort and safety of all Guests, if you are feeling unwell and/or have any symptoms please consider not attending the Gala Event. We thank you for your kind consideration.

Parking is available.
